Technical Collaboration

IKC for dissemination of information at international standards with its vast reservoir of experience of education and knowledge, offers Technical Collaboration to different universities, government / state bodies etc.
Technical Collaboration with the universities and institutes manifests itself into the following major categories for the following two division:

University without open and distance education division
University with open and distance education division

Establishment of Distance Education Division
IKC in joint participation with the University will assist in establishing a Distance Education Division at University as a Technical Collaborating Partner of the university. IKC will guide and help the University without Open and Distance Learning division in all matters relating to the opening up of the proposed Distance Learning Division.

Development of Curriculum
In line with the requirement of collaborating universities / institution, IKC develops and provide the academic programmes ranging from Certificate to Post-graduate and Research level covering all streams of study details. It means Traditional programmes which existed will emerge with new programmes, which will support the quality of education.

Development of Print material
Quality learning material is the most important aspect in the teaching process of distance Education. Developing quality Self Learning Material (SLM) is one of the major responsibilities performed by IKC as part of Technical Collaboration.

Development of Non Print Material
The use of modern technology such as computer aided learning – videos, audios and CD is the integral part of distance education. IKC provides all the aforesaid systems to facilitate the distance education learning system of the collaborating partner .

Promotional and Awareness Activities
With the support of Technical Collaborating partner for Academic Programmes run by the said collaborator, IKC undertakes various awareness and promotional activities for improving the Brand image of the collaborating university/institution at national and international level. Further, IKC will cater the promotional activity for the technical collaborating partner to increase the awareness about the activities and programmes of the collaborating partner. It also undertakes activities to encourage the learners group and various Institutions /trusts / organizations to associate with the said collaborating partner.

Establishment of Virtual Study Center (VSC):
On line programme delivery mechanism is an integral part of the Automated Education Management (AEM) system. IKC establishes VSC which blemishes the distance and geographical barrier to education. For successful implementation of online system of education, IKC establishes VSC, which removes the distance and geographical barriers of education.VSC will establish the Online Programme delivery mechanism for the students. IKC shall provide necessary infrastructure, software and hardware for the VSC, if required, to implement the same. Further IKC can establish the Guidance Center to assist the students in respect of registration process and other academic assistance with VSC. The guideline will be as per the norms of the Technical Collaborating university/institution.

Model Study Center
On demand and with the support of Technical Collaborating Partner, IKC runs Model Study Center at the campus of Technical Collaborating Partner for the various Academic Programmes as and when required.
